New Balance welcomed British rapper Dave to its family of brand ambassadors, adding yet another unique talent to its roster. Known for his bold lyrics and innovative musical style, the 25-year-old artist gained widespread acclaim with his debut album "Psychodrama" in 2019.
In a bold move, Dave takes center stage in New Balance's latest campaign for the launch of the 1000 sneaker model. The campaign's narrative revolves around a street race scenario, highlighting the shoe's versatility and its connections to culture, style, and individuality.
Photographed by the renowned Ewen Spencer, who has long been recognized for his documentation of UK youth subcultures, and with creative direction from Elliot Elder and George Muncy of Uncanny studio, the campaign captures the essence of the brand's ethos.
The reissued New Balance 1000 pays homage to its turn-of-the-millennium roots while seamlessly integrating into the contemporary sneaker scene. With its distinctive design, the 1000 stands out with a streamlined silhouette, overlay panels, segmented sole unit, and nylon eyelets.
Retaining its futuristic silver metallic overlay and ABZORB cushioning, the 1000 offers both style and comfort. The addition of a stability web in the midfoot ensures lightweight support, while the raised rubber TPU logo enhances durability. With an internal foam heel pad, the 1000 provides a secure fit for everyday wear, redefining casual style with its unique features.
