IOI Malls celebrates "Prosperity in Full Bloom" this Chinese New Year. Running from now until 12 February 2025, "Prosperity in Full Bloom" will be a focus event at IOI City Mall, IOI Mall Puchong and IOI Mall Kulai.

In celebration of the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Snake, IOI City Mall and IOI Mall Puchong will feature cultural performances including the stunning lion dance, the silk dragon dance, traditional long sleeve dance, incredible acrobatic shows, acrobatic lion dance with LED lights, captivating Chinese instrumental music like Chinese calligraphy rhyme (Chun Lian), fabric puppet creation, paper cutting, rainbow calligraphy, and more.

At IOI City Mall, the celebrations will be enhanced with vibrant performances, featuring face-changing show, a lively "“8 Majestic Drums” performance, prosperity dance, Kids CNY costume contest, and animal interactions throughout the week presented by IOI City Farm, who were present for the weekend. For IOI Kids Club members, there will be a Prosperity Workshop where children can participate in arts and crafts activities like creating spinning lanterns, stamp art, painting beckoning cats, crafting lion heads, snake diamond art, making maltose candy, along with mascot walkabouts, meet-and-greet sessions, and more.

IOI Mall Kulai will feature lion and dragon dances, magic and puppet shows, cultural and Er Hu performance, face-changing act, and God of Fortune walkabout. The IOI Kids Club offers hands-on workshops where little ones can make their own paper lanterns, dragon puppets, DIY Ang Pow fans and firecracker ornaments.

A special highlight, IOI Mall Kulai will host a special celebration Chap Goh Mei on the 8 February, with stilt acrobatic performances, festival drumming performances, face-changing performances and other performances marking the culmination the of Chinese New Year celebrations, along with the Kids Traditional Costume Competition.
