Brother International Malaysia recently showcased its commitment to environmental sustainability and marine conservation through its “Save the Turtle Environmental CSR Activity.” This impactful event, held in Terengganu and Pahang, brought together 24 employees, including Managing Director Mr. Tsutomu Takaki, to protect marine life and preserve local ecosystems.

The CSR initiative started with a cleanup along Cherating’s coast, where the team collected around 160 kilograms of mostly plastic debris. This highlights the company's commitment to fighting pollution and protecting wildlife.

Through its “Save the Turtle” initiative; a part of Brother’s 2050 Environmental Vision Brother International Malaysia recently demonstrated its commitment to environmental preservation. The company visited the Ma’Daerah Turtle Sanctuary, where employees participated in a conservation effort—releasing 50 endangered Green Sea Turtle hatchlings into the ocean. This activity underscored the critical importance of protecting vulnerable species and fostering biodiversity.

The company is set to continue its environmental initiatives with tree-planting projects, sustainability workshops, and wildlife awareness campaigns to inspire communities and foster environmental stewardship. Through its expanding CSR portfolio, the company continues to demonstrate how businesses can lead the way in sustainability, environmental protection and marine conservation.
